Designed to facilitate optimal positioning of a chest fairing. The Cargo Base Layer houses a bottle up to 650ml in volume centrally on the mid-chest. Proven to save over 5W at 32kph. 

As a secondary benefit, the pocket also allows ice packs to be securely fixed close to the torso to help with cooling in high temperatures.
